Trailer Review
The 1 minute 52 seconds trailer, begins from where Lucifer Season 4 ended, with a goodbye kiss between Lucifer and Chloe, before Lucifer returns to rule Hell. Chloe (Lauren German) tells Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) that she hasn’t been very good since Lucifer left for hell and has been immersing herself in work and hanging out with her to forget him.
However, Lucifer returns to earth when he sees Chloe in danger but Chloe feels he is changed since he has returned. Mazikeen, who was left on earth, confronts Lucifer and gets to know that he is not Lucifer but his twin brother Michael.
Michael has some evil plans, and one gets a whiff of it when he says, “I am not gonna break Lucifer’s life, I am gonna take it,” with an evil smirk. But, how can Lucifer leave Detective Decker aka Chloe with his evil twin? The Lord of Hell will be back on earth for the love of his life.
The rest of the Lucifer season 5 trailer is made up of action scenes, kisses, and a shot that imitates The Shining, before it ends with Michael and Lucifer facing each other.
